LGBTQ Support Services Redditch has organised its first ever Pride event in the town.
On June 3 supporters and members of the LGBTQ + community will start the parade from the Town Hall at 11am walking through the Kingfisher Centre then onto Church Green .
There will be a stage with live acts performing music, comedy and speeches, along with community and business stalls in and around Church Green for visitors to shop and find information.
Stalls serving hot and cold food will be leading down to The Canopies as well as local businesses having Pride-themed events and products in their shops.
Joe Baker, chairperson of the events said: “This is a great opportunity for Redditch, not only does it bring everyone together, it is also great for the town’s economy.
“Its a family friendly day so I would encourage everyone to take part in the Parade and also to listen to the live music and acts.”
The Parade starts at 11am outside the Town Hall with the events starting at 12midday until 6pm.
