Redditch pop-up gallery busier than ever

THE POP-UP gallery for Arts in Redditch has been busier than ever since opening.

Organisers have reported that trade on a brisk opening day has been maintained as local residents make a beeline for the Walford Walk gallery in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre.

There they are discovering more than 500 unique pieces of artwork all created by talented local people.

These range from paintings to a range of media, to ceramics, pottery, craftwork and photography and act as an amazing window into the incredible talents right here in Redditch.

Roger Ricketts, one of the artists exhibiting, said: “I am thrilled by the ongoing success of the exhibition.

“The overwhelming response and support from the community and all artists involved make it a resounding success each year.”

He added:” The exhibition has launched with an outstanding beginning and we’re all looking forward to the remaining days ahead.”

Arts in Redditch praises the Kingfisher Centre and their staff for being so helpful and thanks their ‘build team’ and amazing team of artists for the effort towards the setup of the exhibition this week.

Prices are highly competitive when compared to exhibitions in other towns.

The sale continues until this Sunday, May 29 and buyers can take their purchases away with them on the day.

The gallery can be found opposite Clinton Cards.
