Meeting to be held for controversial metals facility planning application

LEADER of Redditch Borough Council, Coun Matt Dormer will be holding a resident consultation meeting about the metal recovery business which is set to have a premises at 10 Merse Lane, North Moons Moat.

It will be held at 3pm tomorrow, June 3, in Hillmorton Close.

The precious metals recovery facility, owned by Kaug Refinery Services Ltd has moved from Birmingham as the factory doesn’t meet the new clean air zone requirements.

Redditch residents have lodged complains about the factory, saying not only will it create noise pollution but will cause environmental damage.

The meeting tomorrow will be a chance for residents to have their say.
