POLICE are hunting for a dark blue Skoda Octavia after a driver knocked over a woman in Redditch last night.
The motorist then failed to stop after striking the pedestrian on a crossing in Salters Lane.
The 27-year-old woman was left lying in the road with serious leg and head injuries and was taken by ambulance to Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
The vehicle travelled up Hewell Road from the Redditch direction.
Anyone who saw the incident should call police on 101.
