REDDITCH Classic Motor Show defied the weather to attract an overwhelming number of enthusiasts and collectors, making it a resounding success.
Despite showers throughout the day, the event showcased an array of classic and vintage cars.
Organised by Redditch BID in association with Shakespeare Rally Promotions, the annual Redditch Classic Motor Show lived up to its reputation of being one of the premier events of its kind in the region.
The show featured a wide range of iconic cars from different eras and visitors also had the opportunity to talk with experts, who shared their knowledge and provided valuable insights into the vehicles’ historical and technical aspects.
The addition of Batman and the iconic Boatmobile inside the Kingfisher Centre proved to be a massive hit.
Batman was seen visiting many businesses to take memorable snaps with the staff.
Muj Rahman, Redditch BID Manager, said: “It’s incredible to witness the resilience and passion of classic car enthusiasts.
“Despite the rain, we couldn’t be more thrilled with the turnout and the positive feedback we received from both exhibitors and visitors alike.
“Their appreciation for classic automobiles is truly inspiring.”
Adrian Field, the Kingfisher Centre’s general manager, added: “Footfall in the centre on Saturday was 21.8 per cent up on the same Saturday last year and ahead of the Saturday pre-covid in 2019.
“The car parks were also very busy.
“This is great news for our tenants and the positive work that Redditch BID does to help them boost trade.
“Feedback from businesses has been very positive.”
