FIVE streets in Batchley have been targeted by opportunist thieves after countless Amazon and DPD parcels have been stolen right from driveways.
West Mercia Police are investigating the spate of thefts which have been occurring in Cherry Tree Walk, Cardy Close, Lock Close, Rowan Road and WIllow Way, all less than 500 metres from each other.
The police are urging anyone with CCTV footage, information or witness accounts to email [email protected] to inform PC Andy Rhodes of the Batchley Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT).
Batchley SNT have also offered advice on avoiding being a victim of parcel theft as the motive of these types of offenders is often to open, search and steal from porches which are unlocked.
