THE M42 is now fully open now the emergency services have concluded their work dealing with a serious crash in the early hours.
The collision happened after midnight and involved two cars between Junction 2 (Alvechurch) and Junction 1 (Bromsgrove and for the M5).
A full carriageway closure was required for collision investigation work.
It was shut for more than nine hours and a diversion route was put in place.
But now that work has been completed, the carriageway has reopened and the traffic is flowing again.
