A MAN was arrested on suspicion of dealing class A drugs in Redditch town centre.
The Redditch Police Safer Neighbourhood Teams swooped in a vehicle after receiving information from the public
Officers stopped the vehicle yesterday. A search uncovered 141 wraps of what was believed to be crack cocaine and heroin.
A quantity of cash and a phone, believed to be used to facilitate the offering and distribution of drugs, was also found and seized by officers.
The man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and taken into custody.
Officers said it was a result of the community providing them with valuable information.
“We will continue to work closely with the communities of Redditch to reduce this kind of activity which has detrimental affect on society.”
