A MONEY coaching and debt help charity and a Redditch church have launched a new campaign to help people swap the winter blues for budgeting success.

Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is an organisation dedicated to aiding individuals and families facing financial challenges.

The charity is committed to providing free money coaching and debt support services that empower and uplift those in need.

The efforts aim to foster stronger community bonds and ensure support is accessible to all who need it.

CAP has teamed up with Oasis Christian Centre, based in Redditch town centre, to help people in the town manage their finances.

They have launched a free campaign, detailing how best to balance a budget and maximise income.

CAP’s Redditch Debt Centre Manager and Money Coach, Caroline Gray, said: “Winter is often a time when we all feel a bit blue.

“The weather is cold, energy bills are on the rise again and money for a lot of people is tight at this time of year, but there are simple steps we can all take to turn our blues into budgeting success.

“At Christians Against Poverty and Oasis Christian Centre we are determined to help people in our local community improve their finances.

“We do this by offering free debt help and money coaching.

“This winter we are launching the budget not blues campaign and releasing free resources to people and encouraging everyone in Redditch to use our free tools to create themselves a personal budget and follow our five simple steps to improve their finances in 2024.”
