A REDDITCH care home showed appreciation for their ‘inspirational’ female residents and staff members on International Women’s Day with hundreds of spring daffodils.

Tied in bunches with heartfelt, uplifting messages attached, daffodils were handed to all women part of the Millcroft family.

Brenda Prewitt, a resident who moved to Millcroft in February 2024, has inspired both residents and staff with her determination to become mobile again following a fall, all the while being heavily involved with several social groups, including one which supports those living with Parkinsons.

Brenda said: “The daffodils are such a thoughtful gift to receive, and it’s so wonderful to see women being recognised and celebrated in this way.”

Lyndsay Sard, the home manager at Millcroft, added: “There are so many strong, inspirational women at Millcroft – it’s truly incredible to be in such influential company.

“Nothing could ever really show how much we appreciate the amazing female role models here at Millcroft, but we hope these small tokens have put smiles on our ladies’ faces.”
