A MAN was arrested and taken into custody in Redditch, thanks to police dog PD Alvin.
The four-legged law enforcer was hot on the heels of the suspect following a street robbery.
And PD Alvin assisted officers from Worcestershire Operational Patrol Unit (OPU) by finding the discarded weapon.
The National Police Air Service helicopter was also deployed to help locate the man who was trying to hard from police.
