A REDDITCH Scout group is set to host a charity summer fete this weekend.
The first Churchill Scout Group will be hosting its family fun day at Edgeworth Close in Churchill on Sunday (June 30).
Visitors can experience tomahawk throwing, a raffle, tombola, face painting, outdoor games, lots of stalls and much more.
The volunteer led group are hosting the event to raise funds to help finance the repairs of its scout hut and necessary costs to keep providing its members with worthwhile scouting activities.
A spokesperson for Churchill Scout Group told the Standard: “We’re looking for people to join us to help keep the scout hut going.
“We’d love the support of the community.”
The group also run scout camps for Beavers and Cubs.
