TWO men have been sentenced to a total of five years for burglaries and car thefts in Redditch.
On September 20, 2023, two houses in Hither Green Lane, Redditch were broken into. Car keys were taken from one of the addresses and two cars stolen from the property.
Yesterday (Thursday, August 8) Liam Moore, 19, of HMP Brinsford was sentenced to 3 years.
His co-accused Haydn McCarron, 22, also of HMP Brinsford was sentenced to 2 years on July 23.
Both men had been charged with burglary offences.
A third person, a 17-year-old boy who cannot be named for legal reasons, was also charged with conspiracy to burgle and conspiracy to steal motor vehicles.
He pleaded guilty to these charges on July 5 and was sentenced to a 12-week electronically monitored home detention curfew.
