Man suffers fractured cheekbone in vicious attack by gang of youths in Alcester

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted by a gang of youths outside a pub in Alcester.

The 40-year-old was attacked by five men aged between 17 and 20 outside The Alcester Inn on St Faith’s Road at around 6.50pm on Sunday August 11.

The victim received significant facial injuries including a fractured cheekbone.

Immediately afterwards, it is alleged that the men left the scene in a ‘67-plate dark grey Mercedes A-Class.

Police release descriptions of those involved

One of the men was white with short mousy-brown hair, wearing a black body warmer with no top underneath, knee-length black shorts, white socks and black trainers.

The second was a mixed-race man with brown curly hair and short sides. He was wearing a black tracksuit with grey stripes down the side and a grey man-bag.




The third was a white man with short brown hair brushed forwards at the front. He was wearing a white t-shirt, grey jogging bottoms, and a black man-bag.

There was also a mixed-race male with dark curly hair tied up at the back. He was wearing a black Nike tracksuit with a black man-bag.


And there was a white man wearing a black cap with a light-coloured circular logo, as well as a black bodywarmer, grey t-shirt, black shorts, white socks, and black trainers.
