THIS IS Redditch Council’s new-look logo following a makeover to incorporate the traditional colours of the Kingfisher and a green to represent the borough’s beautiful spaces.
More than 30 workshops within the community helped choose the ‘Reimagine Redditch’ palette to inspire the new look which was officially unveiled last week.
The logo also depicts needles to recognise Redditch’s heritage and features the strapline ‘Working Together For Our Communities’.
Redditch Borough Council leader, Coun Joe Baker, said the authority wanted the logo to be given a fresh, modern bold look.
To avoid unnecessary expense, the project would expand steadily, only replacing items such as bins, vehicles and signage when they reached the end of their life.
