ALCESTER Musical Theatre Company is treading the boards this week at the Palace Theatre with its latest production featuring the quirkiest of families.
Based on the weird and wonderful Addams characters, The Addams Family Musical is weaving a tale of love, traditions and acceptance for three more nights until Saturday.
When Wednesday falls in love with ‘normal’ boy Lucas, and invites him and his parents over to dinner, it sets a chain of events in motion that shake both families to their cores.
Will Wednesday and Lucas find happiness despite their differences? Will Gomez and Morticia be able to accept their daughter’s choice?
Will Alice and Mal rekindle their romance? And will Pugsley and Wednesday’s relationship ever be the same?
Starring Beth Marden as Morticia Addams, Ben Moore as Gomez Addams, Sarah Roberts as Wednesday Addams and Michael Treagust as Uncle Fester, the Addams family must face up to the one horrible thing they’ve managed to avoid for generations: change.
The show is both directed and produced by Bev Hatton with musical direction provided by Phil Radden. Dance moves are choreographed by Naomi Beckford.
The shows run October 10 to 12 and tickets cost £21.50 to £23.50 depending on the date. Purchase online from www.redditchpalacetheatre.co.uk.
