A BRAND new Alpha course – ‘Let’s Talk Life’ is launching at St Stephen’s Church in Redditch.
The session takes place at 6.30pm on January 16, enabling participants to go along to chat about the big questions, such as ‘What is it all about?’ or ‘Who is Jesus, really?’
The Alpha course is led by vicar Rev Fraser Oates and gives people the opportunity to explore faith in a no-pressure environment.
Rev Oates said: “Christmas can stir up all kinds of questions – Alpha is a space to bring them, whatever they are. No question is too big, small, or weird.”
The event, which is free and open to everyone, starts with a meal, followed by a short talk about life and faith. Then, people will have a chance to share their thoughts or just listen.
The Alpha course is billed as having ‘no homework, just good conversation and maybe even a laugh or two’.
Everyone is welcome – from seasoned believers to the curious and sceptics.
An Alpha course for young people begins on Sunday evenings, starting at 5.30pm on January 19.
