MEMBERS of Studley Operatic Society have worked together to donate to Nightstop, writes May-Ling Turner.
Nightstop is a local charity which provides homeless prevention and support services for those aged between 16 to 35 years.
Donations included chocolates, toiletries, and gifts.
The society’s chairperson, Lorraine Hill presented the donations to Susan Sadler, the manger of Nightstop and Tara, a representative from the charity.
The contribution will help provide support to people facing hardship.
Lorraine said: “I am so proud of our society and its commitment to supporting those in need, especially in these difficult times.”
Studley Operatic Society is also gearing up for its next production this spring.
It will stage Disney’s ‘The Little Mermaid’ at the Palace Theatre from April 8 to 12.

Redditch Nightstop wants to thank everyone who donated to its Christmas and new year appeals.
The charity, which supports young people to prevent homelessness, issued a plea to help give those in need a better festive season.
Susan Sadler, the manger of Nightstop, said: “We didn’t ask for cash donations, just items and we were overwhelmed with the response from businesses, schools and individuals.
“The community of Redditch really came together and made a difference at what can sometimes be a lonely and difficult time of the year.”
