Studley care home brings community together for egg-straordinary Easter Fayre

A STUDLEY care home rolled out the Easter spirit with an unforgettable fayre.

The event saw an incredible turnout, as families, friends and residents enjoyed a vibrant day filled with laughter, creativity and sweet surprises.

The day was packed with egg-citing activities that brought smiles to all ages.

Visitors to Haywood Lodge bounced until their hearts were content on a lively bouncy castle, savoured the sugary delight of freshly spun candy floss, and were left spellbound by the mesmerising performance of Magic Russ.

The highlight for many was the Easter Egg Hunt, where children and adults searched for hidden treasures and sweet treats, guided by a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny himself, who hopped in to lend a paw.

In the lead-up to the Fayre, Haywood Lodge residents showcased their artistic flair, crafting colourful homemade decorations that adorned the reception area.

Georgia Cooney, home manager, said: “The decorations were a true reflection of our residents’ creativity and spirit.

“The Easter Fayre was a fantastic opportunity to open our doors and celebrate with the community.

“Seeing everyone come together – residents, families, and neighbours – for a day of joy and connection was truly heartwarming.”

Dawn, a member of the local community, added: “I love attending Haywood Lodge’s special events – they are always very well organised and fun.”
