HUNDREDS of people from across the Redditch enjoyed a fun-filled summer afternoon in Arrow Valley Country Park earlier last weekend at the annual Green Fair.
Activities on Saturday included displays and demonstrations from the Army, fire, and police services and loads of ‘have-a-go’ entertainment.
The festival atmosphere was lit up with live music, including Gemma Nelson with an eclectic pop mega-mix, Jo Lennard with a Taylor Swift tribute and pop medley and Tom Joseph delivering a fantastic Ed Sheeran Tribute.
Councillor Juliet Barker-Smith portfolio holder for Leisure and Recreation said: “The Green Fair is a date in our events calendar which I look forward to each year.
“This year’s event offered a diverse line up of organisations working to make a positive impact on our planet.
“It was great to see our communities showing their support for it and enjoying the sunshine too
“We hope to expand this event in the future and welcome any suggestions from residents that will support and grow our Green Fair next year.”
