COOKHILL Baptist Church is set to open its doors this weekend and spread a little happiness with the return of the annual flower festival.
The event, which has been going since 2001, runs from Friday, June 28, to Sunday, June 29, and will feature eight floral displays around the themed of light out of darkness.
There will be food and refreshments on offer in the form of morning coffees, ploughman’s lunches and afternoon cream teas.
The festival is open 10am to 5pm and is free to enter.
