Sunset, Sax and Support: A lakeside evening with the Mayor

REGISTER BY 5th SEPT

Redditch residents are invited to round off the summer in style as the Mayor of Redditch hosts a sparkling ‘Late Summer Evening’ charity event in aid of Primrose Hospice and Family Support Centre.

Set against the backdrop of the Arrow Valley Lake at sunset, the event takes place on Friday 12 September from 7pmat The Boathouse, Arrow Valley Countryside Centre.

Guests will be welcomed with canapés on arrival, before enjoying a hot buffet and the smooth, soulful sounds of live saxophone from the talented Shadow Sax. As twilight falls over the water, a charity raffle will add extra excitement to the evening, with a £100 cash prize waiting for one lucky winner.

Mayor of Redditch, Cllr Joanna Kane, said:

“I would love residents from across the borough to join me for what promises to be a fantastic event. It will be a wonderful evening to enjoy great company, delicious food and soulful music, all in the name of this very worthy charity. My mother-in-law received care from her local hospice, and I have seen first-hand the difference they make to patients, carers and families.”

Tickets are £35 per person, with every penny supporting the vital work of Primrose Hospice and Family Support Centre in the community.

There’s still time to register: secure your place by 5 September by contacting Susan Lisle (Mayor’s PA) at [email protected] or by calling 01527 881380.
