THE REDDITCH branch of Swift Temps teamed up with the Friends of Isaac’s Food Bank CIC to support the cause, writes Isabel Matthews.
The assistance came last Friday (September 5) which was National Foodbank Day.
Damian Lee, managing director of Swift Temps, said: “With the cost of living rising, more and more people are having to use food banks, and if we can help in any way, we will always try.”
The community project provides essential donations to help people and families facing food insecurity.
The annual national day serves to raise awareness and honor the volunteers and organisations who provide support to vulnerable people.
In the last year, official data shows that four per cent of people in the UK have relied on food banks, including six per cent of children.
UK food banks distributed 2.9million emergency food parcels, with more than one million given to children in the last year ending in March 2025.
Business partners and local residents are welcome to donating food or funds to Isaac’s Food Bank CIC.
