Redditch United on the ball in networking event

MORE than 40 local businesses came together at Redditch United Football Club’s latest networking evening.

The event, hosted by the club at their Sallie Swan Street ground and organised in partnership with Steve Cook of Non-League Networking, brought together business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals for an evening of relaxed networking, food and football.

Attendees had the opportunity to strengthen local links, share ideas and discuss opportunities for collaboration in a friendly, informal setting.

The evening highlighted Redditch United’s growing role as both a sporting institution and a community hub, with the club’s facilities increasingly being used for local events and initiatives schemes beyond football.

Town MP Chris Bloore also attended the event.

He said: “It was fantastic to see so many local businesses coming together.

“Supporting small and medium-sized businesses is vital – they are the backbone of Redditch’s economy and central to creating jobs and opportunities in our town.

“Events like this showcase the strength, ambition and community spirit.

“I want to thank Redditch United and Non-League Networking for hosting such a brilliant evening and I’ll continue to stand up for our local businesses in Parliament and here at home.”

Iain Wain, managing director of Redditch United, expressed his enthusiasm for hosting the event and underlined the club’s commitment to supporting local enterprises and community activity.

The networking event is part of a series designed to provide grassroots business support, offering a space for businesses to share experiences, explore opportunities and build valuable connections without the constraints of formal meetings.
