A REDDITCH entrepreneur and mum of two, Rebecca Berry, founder of Berrykin Marketing, has been shortlisted for Female Entrepreneur of the Year at the UK Small Business Awards, less than a year after launching her business.
Rebecca’s entrepreneurial journey began after she experienced pregnancy and maternity discrimination in the workplace – a turning point which motivated her to take control of her career, redefine her future and build something of her own.
Determined to create a working life which respected both her skills and her role as a mother, she established Berrykin Marketing from scratch while raising two young children.
Rebecca said: “In many ways, my business was born from a difficult experience.
“Facing pregnancy and maternity discrimination pushed me to back myself and build something on my own terms.
“To be recognised nationally, less than a year later, is incredibly meaningful.
“I’m proud to represent Worcestershire and to show other women that they can rewrite their story too.”
Drawing on her 15-year corporate background, Rebecca built Berrykin Marketing into a thriving business in under 12 months.
As a freelance PR and Marketing specialist, she partners with brands and business leaders across the UK to build recognition, elevate reputation and drive growth through strategic storytelling and integrated marketing.
