A CARE home in Redditch is inviting members of the local community to come together for its weekly Chatty Cafe.
The friendly and relaxed social gathering – every Wednesday from 10.30am to 12.30pm in Millcroft’s cafe room – is designed to bring people closer, reduce loneliness and create meaningful connections.
The weekly event offers an informal setting where people can catch up with old friends, meet new faces and enjoy a sense of community.
Visitors are treated to a selection of homemade cakes, along with a drink of their choice.
Whether popping in for a quick chat or staying for the full session, everyone is encouraged to relax, socialise and feel at home.
By opening its doors each week, the home aims to create a welcoming space which is inclusive, friendly and accessible to all.
Lyndsay Sard, Millcroft Care Home manager, said: “Our Chatty Cafe is all about bringing people together in a warm and welcoming environment.
“We know how important social connection is for wellbeing and these sessions give people the chance to enjoy good conversation, great company and some lovely treats.
“We’re always delighted to welcome members of the local community and hope the Chatty Cafe becomes a regular highlight in people’s weekly routines.”
