JEZ Abbey’s goal secured Alvechurch’s place in the division next season as Church won 1-0 against already-relegated Royston Town.
Abbey scored the game’s only goal late in the second half at Lye Meadow as Alvechurch stretched their unbeaten run to five matches.
The result means Church sit 14th in the Southern League Premier Central table, 12 points above the relegation zone with only two matches left to play.
After a goalless first half, Abbey broke the deadlock on 76 minutes with a finish into the corner from Jonathan Ngandu’s pass.
Alvechurch are next in action against Real Bedford on Saturday, April 18 with kick-off at 3pm at the Ledger Stadium.
