PLANS have been approved for an urban logistics development in Redditch.
Called Aurora Park, the scheme is being delivered by a joint venture between urban logistics property developer and investment manager Chancerygate and global real estate investor Hines.
Based at North Moons Moat industrial estate, it will comprise of nine leasehold units and work is scheduled to start on site this summer.
Chancerygate development manager, Rob Watts, who is based in the company’s Birmingham office, said: “We can now move forward with Aurora Park in a part of the West Midlands where there is strong demand for modern, sustainable business space.
“There is a clear requirement in Redditch and the wider region for strategically-located accommodation that meets the needs of a broad range of businesses.
“Aurora Park will provide high-specification units in an established commercial location with excellent connectivity, while also creating up to 150 new jobs.”
