A HOUSEBUILDER has launched a community chest competition, offering one local good cause the chance to receive a £1,000 donation.
Whether it is a charity that relies on donations to continue its vital work or a community group making a real difference to local people, Taylor Wimpey is encouraging Redditch residents to nominate organisations they believe deserve a helping hand.
Nominations are open to charities, groups, and organisations in Redditch and the surrounding area.
Matthew Kendall, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey Midlands, said: “We recognise the importance of giving back to the communities in which we build, and there’s no one better than local people to tell us who is making a real difference.
“Whether it’s a local charity that depends on donations or a group providing invaluable support to the community, we want to hear about the organisations you believe would benefit most from a £1,000 donation.”
All nominations must be received by July 31.
To nominate a charity or community group, email: [email protected] with the name of the nominee and a brief description of why they should be considered.
Only one nomination per person will be counted and the winning organisation will be informed by the end of August.
