THERE will be plenty of things to do from 12pm to 4pm tomorrow (Saturday, July 4) at a free family fun day at Willow Trees Community Centre, Loxley Close, Redditch, writes Anna Hunt.
The sun is forecast to be shining and the event will be packed with fun activities for all ages.
Among the attractions will be a 40ft inflatable assault course, children’s activites, craft faryre, community stalls, food and refreshments and plenty more to enjoy. The event has been organised by
YMCA Worcestershire to bring local people together while raising awareness of the charity’s work supporting children, young people and families across the county.
Emily Brooks, Marketing and Communications Lead at YMCA Worcestershire, said: “We’re hoping families will come along, enjoy the fantastic weather and spend a few hours making memories together.
“The Family Fun Day is about bringing the community together in a relaxed, welcoming environment while helping people discover the work YMCA Worcestershire does every day to support local children, young people and families.”
Alongside entertainment and activities, visitors will have the opportunity to browse through a range of stalls from local businesses, charities and community organisations. It will be a great day to shop locally, meet new people and enjoy everything the community has to offer.
