NEARLY £1,000 has been raised for Redditch charity AHead of Wellbeing, to help fund the mental health and domestic abuse recovery services.
Coun Sharon Harvey, leader of the town Labour party put her best foot forward during the 10km race at Arrow Valley, and alongside Brenda Morrison-Webb founder of the charity, raised £929.
AHead of Wellbeing was established in 2019 to proactively support individuals before, during, and after a crisis. They support anyone across Redditch, with a primary focus on those who have experienced domestic abuse, self-harm or suicide, grief, and loneliness and isolation.
They assist individuals on their mental health journey through therapy, group sessions, and activities such as crafts, meditation, and relaxation techniques.
Brenda said: “Thank you to everyone who donated and showed any support through donating, sharing, running.”
