REDDITCH United played out a 2-2 draw with Loughborough Students in the club’s annual Tom Rankin Memorial Game.
A Tom Rankin XI took on a Loughborough University XI at the Valley Stadium as the game ended in a draw.
Redditch led by two goals at the break courtesy of strikes from a trialist and Alex Cameron.
However, quickfire late goals from Alex Bertholon and Underwood saw the pre-season clash end all square.
The annual match took place in memory of Rankin who played for the Reds at the time of his death in March 2022.
Rankin wore the captain’s armband at Redditch and, prior to his move to the Reds, also played for Loughborough University.
A JustGiving page set up to raise money for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) in memory of Rankin has raised more than £1,100.

Redditch continue their pre-season schedule against Coventry United on Monday, July 27 with kick-off at 7.45pm at the Valley Stadium.
