A REDDITCH man has been handed a three-year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) following recent convictions for theft and using threatening behaviour.
Ross Neale, 37, of Northleach Close, Redditch was given the CBO at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Wednesday July 15.
The order prohibits Neale from:
- Being on Church Green, Redditch, save for attending the offices of Charles Strachan Solicitors.
- Being on Unicorn Hill, Redditch.
- Being in possession of an open vessel of alcohol in any public place, unless in an area where the consumption of alcohol is permitted.
- Refusing to leave a premises or area when asked by someone who has authority to do so.
- Urinating in a public place, save for public toilets.
Sgt Charlie Osborne of Redditch Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “We are pleased to get this CBO for Neale whose shoplifting and antisocial behaviour has impacted businesses and visitors to the town centre.
“His CBO warns him that if he does anything he is prohibited from doing by this order, or if he fails to do anything he is required to do by this order, he will be committing a criminal offence for which he could be sent to prison or detention and/or ordered to pay a fine.
“Anyone who witnesses Neale breaching the terms of this order should report it to police via 101 or on our website.”
