A CLASSIC tale of Cheshire Cats, Mock Turtles and rabbit holes will delight Redditch theatregoers next weekend.

Palace Youth Theatre (PYT) will put on Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass at the Palace Theatre from Thursday to Saturday (July 17 to 19).

In total 40 youngsters are involved in the production and Lizzi Sifford, Youth Theatre and Arts Officer for Redditch Borough Council, said it was a show not to be missed.

“The whole cast have helped to direct and create music for this production to make sure they give their audiences a fantastical trip down a rabbit hole and through a looking glass with some smiling cats and royal card games on the way.”

Performances take place at 7.30pm with a 2.30pm matinée performance as well on the Saturday.

Tickets cost £12 or £10 concessions and are available from the box office on 01527 65203.
