Stepping out for homeless charity

Redditch Editorial 4th Sep, 2014 Updated: 18th Oct, 2016   0

STEPPING out of their comfort zone and raising money for a homeless charity saw two sisters travelling to Wales.

Abbie Maries, 19, and Beth Jones, 15, took a 150-mile road trip with various challenges along the way, before completing the world’s longest and fastest zip wire in Snowdonia. They then set up camp close to Snowdon and travelled to the summit.

On the last day of the challenge in aid of Redditch Nightstop, the pair undertook another challenge and then travelled to Llyn Peninsula.

They have already completed their goal of raising £1,000 but hope to increase this as their online donation page is still open.
