Chance to grill Redditch MP - The Redditch Standard

Chance to grill Redditch MP

Redditch Editorial 23rd Oct, 2014 Updated: 18th Oct, 2016   0

STANDARD readers are being given the chance to grill Redditch’s MP through a new feature starting next week.

For the last four years Karen Lumley has penned her Westminster Diary for the Standard bringing residents up to date on her activities in Parliament, government policies and her views on other issues.

But now Mrs Lumley is putting readers in control by giving them the chance to pose questions on topics they are interested in and she will answer them in the Standard every two weeks.

Answers to as many questions as possible will be printed but those not answered publicly will receive a full personal response.

“I have been writing a Westminster Diary in the same way for four years and thought it was time for a rethink. From now on I will be letting my constituents control my column.” she said.

Questions can be posed on any topic and can be emailed to [email protected] or [email protected] with Standard Question in the subject, tweeted to @karenlumleymp #standardquestions, or post them on Mrs Lumley or the Standard’s Facebook wall.
