Ewe’ll need to look closely

Redditch Editorial 5th Dec, 2014 Updated: 18th Oct, 2016   0

A BAA-RMY Christmas activity will see children hunting for lost sheep in and around the Kingfisher Shopping Centre.

Those taking part in the event, organised by Redditch Churches Together, can pick up an information leaflet at the information desk within the centre and get searching for the 12 knitted sheep hidden in the shops. Those returning a completed sheet full of all the animals’ names will be entered into a prize draw.

Retail chaplain Sarah Lesson said: “We hope this will be a fun activity for families and a way to enhance the sense of community in the town centre.

“It’s also a small reminder of the Christmas story and a chance to remember that although the giving of gifts is important at Christmas, the reason we celebrate is a small baby, born in a stable and visited by shepherds.”

The result of the prize draw will be announced at the Town Centre Carols event in Millward Square at 11am on Saturday, December 20.
