ASTWOOD Bank Scouts got the chance to learn vital life-saving skills.
A total of 26 Scouts and seven leaders joined the ‘nation of lifesavers’ by practising their CPR skills using a training kit provided by the British Heart Foundation.
Sam Stilgoe, aged 13, said: “I’m glad I’ve had the chance to practise CPR. I’d have the confidence now to have a go if I found someone who was unconscious and not breathing.”
