CHILDREN looked to the future as they transformed into firefighters, police officers and builders.
Youngsters from the Learning Nursery on Beoley Road West wore the costumes as part of a project which explored what they wanted to be when they grew up.
Answers included everything from princesses to bin men and as part of the day they were all sponsored to raise funds for Save the Children which supports both emergency and long-term relief project for children across the world.
Real life police officers also visited the nursery to talk to children about the role.
Holly Browning, deputy manager, said staff at the nursery always tried to create enriching experiences for the children.
“We hope the money we raise allows other children around the world to do the same.”
