A MAN was taken to hospital with serious injuries after he was assaulted in the town centre.
The 23-year-old victim was attacked on Unicorn Hill about 1.47am on Sunday (July 20).
He went to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with head injuries.
A 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm without intent and has been released on bail.
