PUPILS took a walk on the wild side with a visit from the animal man.
Vaynor First School children got up close and personal with a variety of animals to learn more about how they behaved, how to care for them and protect their habitats.
Among those who visited the school were Fluff the tarantula, Otis the owl, Colin the snake and George the bearded dragon.
