Teenagers hospitalised after car overturns

THREE teenagers were taken to hospital after their car overturned near Haselor.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Wilmcote Lane about 10.50pm on Friday (March 27).

The driver was already out of the vehicle and was treated for minor injuries before being taken to Warwick Hospital.

A 17-year-old girl was trapped for about 30 minutes and had a serious head injury, a fractured arm and suspected back and pelvic injuries.




She was anaesthetised and taken to the University Hospital Coventry.

Another man was also trapped and had serious head, facial injuries and suspected chest, back and pelvic injuries.


He was also anaesthetised and taken to the same hospital.

Three ambulances, a paramedic support officer in a rapid response car, a community paramedic and the MERIT team were all sent to the scene.
