RESIDENTS were invited to hop on to Betty the bus for advice and support about cancer.
The green Macmillan bus took pride of place in Market Place where volunteers spoke to passers-by to answer any questions or concerns about the disease.
The bus is one of four which travels up and down the country with a team who are dedicated to helping people come to terms with cancer.
They are funded by money raised through coffee morning events and provide an anonymous service for people who have been diagnosed with cancer, their families, or for those who want to find out more about making lifestyle changes.
