Dangerous dog incident sparks warning

Redditch Editorial 2nd Dec, 2014 Updated: 18th Oct, 2016   0

WALKERS are being urged to be on their guard after a dangerous dog incident.

A man was walking his dog with his two young children in Church Hill on Sunday (November 30) about 12.30pm.

As they walked along Northleach Close they encountered another dog without an owner.

The dog, which had grey and white long hair, became aggressive towards the two children and their dog.

Although no one was hurt West Mercia Police want people to come forward with any information about the dog or its owner.

The dog is described as male, has a tan patch near its rear end, brown eyes and resembles a husky breed.

At the time of the incident the animal was wearing a black collar with no identification tags.

Anyone with any information should call PC Boswell on 101.
