Victims unnerved by suspicious incidents

A WOMAN was flashed at while in one of Arrow Valley Countryside Centre’s car park.

The incident happened off Holloway Drive around 1.15pm on Monday (February 2). The victim, a 40-year-old, was approached by a man who indecently exposed himself.

She was left shaken after the incident but was not physically harmed. The offender was in his late 20s or early 30s and was wearing an orange or mustard coloured hooded top with the word ‘scum’ written on the back, grey jogging bottoms and was riding a silver or white coloured mountain bike.

On the same day at 1pm, a woman was approached by a man on Cleeve Close. He stood a foot away from her and stared at her, she felt threatened during the incident but was not injured.




He was in his early 30s and wearing grey, baggy jogging bottoms which were covered in mud, a jacket, sunglasses, a hat and was riding a white mountain bike with black and red writing.

A third incident happened at 7.45am on Arley Close today (Thursday) when a woman believed she was followed by a man while she was walking her dog.


She asked him if he was lost or needed help but he carried on staring at her and did not respond.

He was white with an olive skin tone, well built, wearing ski glasses, a scarf over his mouth, a dark hat and was carrying a luminous green bag on his back. He also had a bike with him.

Investigating officer PC Steve Hackett said: “We are treating these three incidents as linked and are eager to trace the man responsible. The victims were left very shaken and upset after the incidents but thankfully were not physically harmed.”
