INFORMATION about services for older people in the borough will be on offer next week.
An event organised by the Redditch Older People’s Forum is set to run from 10am to 1pm on Thursday (March 12) at the Town Hall, with a raffle drawn at midday.
The day will include free NHS health checks, advice from organisations and charities and refreshments, with visitors able to book a free home fire safety check.
Mayor Pat Witherspoon, who is also the chair of the forum, said: “Each year the forum holds this event to showcase the wealth of services and information which is available for older people, their friends and carers.
“Not only is this event useful to find out things, it’s a perfect opportunity to socialise and share experiences.”
