A WOMAN escaped injury after her Volkswagen Polo car crashed on the A435 slip road onto the A4023 in Redditch at 8.10am this morning.
Police arrived on the scene and immediately closed the road at 8.25am, diverting rush hour traffic down to the Mappleborough Green island at The Dog.
The driver was unharmed and the slip road re-opened at 8.45am and traffic is reported as moving smoothly.
