A 62-year-old man has been charged in relation to a rape that took place in Alvechurch 28 years ago.
Steven Hearle, of Hunters Walk, Lozells, has been charged with the rape and indecent assault of a woman, aged between 16 and 19 years, in 1987.
Hearle appeared before Worcester Magistrates Court this morning (July 31) and has been remanded in custody.
He will appear at Worcester Crown Court on November 2.
