REDDITCH MP Karen Lumley called into the new micro brewery on Church Green East last week.
The Black Tap Brew Pub officially opened last Wednesday and Mrs Lumley said she was delighted during her visit, saying: “It is the best news for Redditch when we hear of new business starting up which is helping drive our local economy upwards.
“We have some wonderful industry going on right here in our community, from large businesses to very small start-ups, and I was so pleased to be able to celebrate with Paul Thomas and his team the opening of a new micro-brewery here in Redditch.
“Good news too for all of us beer-drinkers! Those who know me are aware that I am a keen supporter of Camra, the Campaign for Real Ale, and so I have a double delight in the opening of the Black Tap Brewer Pub.”
