Asda looking to recruit 300 members of staff for new Redditch store

THE new Asda Redditch store is looking to recruit over 300 staff for a mixture of part and full-time positions across all of its departments; those interested should visit www.asda.jobs for further information.

The 40,000 square foot superstore which is set to open its doors this November will create over 300 jobs for local people and has already received over 2,000 applications.The store will incorporate delicious products from its pizza and fish counters, as well as Asda’s popular own label brand, Chosen By You, and a café where shoppers can enjoy delicious meals.

A George department, stocking the clothing and homeware brand’s latest collection will appeal to the fashion-savvy shopper or interior designing aficionados.

Asda Redditch will also feature an opticians and travel money counter, allowing customers to combine their weekly shopping with their optical or holiday needs.




New store manager, Kevin Price, said: “We’re feeling really positive about the number of jobs being created in Redditch as part of the store opening and we can’t wait to get fully recruited ahead of the opening in November.

“We are all really excited to get the doors open and welcome our new customers into our brand new store. We will have a team of colleagues who are willing to provide world class service to our customers; we hope to offer them a convenient and easy shop!
